Whenever I heard the name of Scandinavia, the things that come to my mind is Viking (Present Perfect Tense), Aurora Borealis, mountains, different culture, unique foods, IKEA and more (SVA). There have been a lot of fascinating things we can talk about Scandinavia (Present Perfect Tense), so grab your comfy pillow and sit with your cup of coffee.
Scandinavia is also known as part of Northern Europe. I know that everyone of you eager to know why it's called Scandinavia. In other words (Transition Signals), Scandinavia is made up from three countries like Norway, Sweden and Denmark that shares common and unique culture and history. Besides that (Transition Signals), Finland and Iceland are also part of Scandinavia. When this two country is under Scandinavia it is formerly known as Nordic Region.
Let's take a closer look at the three countries:
1. NORWAY:
Norway is a land that emerged from the Last Ice Age due to its warming influence of Gulf Stream (SVA). This place is attracted by fishing and hunting activity. Apart from that (Transition Signals), after years of trade unions with Denmark and Sweden, Norway has been entirely independent since 1905 (Present Perfect Tense).

2. SWEDEN
Sweden is a nation which is famous for lakes and islands (SVA). The world knows Sweden through its Viking History in 19th century that came to rule Northern Europe(SVA) . There were few kingdoms that ruled Sweden, for instance (Transition Signals), Hanseatic period, Kalmar Union, Vasa period and finally Swedish empire.
In other words (Transition Signals), Sweden is best known as capital of culture. Sweden is also quite famous for its berries (blueberries, lingonberries and mushrooms) which can be found around the forest. This is a bonus for those hikers because can pluck berries on their way.😆

3. DENMARK
Denmark is one of the oldest kingdom in the world (SVA). Danish was the language belongs to the Northern Europe. Denmark lies southwest of Sweden and south of Norway.
Nevertheless(Transition Signals), the Kingdom of Denmark also comprises the Faroe Islands and the island of Greenland, all of which are situated in the North Atlantic Ocean. Each region is distinct in history, language and culture (SVA). Home rule was granted to the Faroes in 1948 and to Greenland in 1979, while foreign and defense policy remained under Danish control.
