Hello and welcome back everyone!😊 I am so thrilled to share my experience when I was in Scandinavia. Well, it was on my bucket list and now, I could finally write about my wonderful journey. Scandinavia is a country that shares great history, cultures, agriculture and different language aspects (Subject Verb Agreement). So, this post is mainly about the top 5 places that I've visited with my friends(Present Perfect Tense).

1. COPENHAGEN, DENMARK
[Nyhavn, Copenhagen]

First (Transition Signals), we had decided to travel to Copenhagen,  Denmark (Past Perfect Tense). It is one of the most famous destinations to begin the journey. Copenhagen is also known for its beautiful capital with royal heritage, architectural buildings and its transportation system (Subject Verb Agreement).

The first place we decided to travel was Nyhavn. Nyhavn is the most famous street in Copenhagen because of its harbor that is lined beautifully with colorful 18th-century houses (Subject Verb Agreement). Moreover (Transition Signals), it's also the best place to relax for a cup of coffee.

[Rosenborg Castle, Copenhagen]

Then, before the day ended, we had decided to go to Rosenborg Castle (Past Perfect Tense). At first (Transition Signals), we thought it's free admission, but we need to pay in order to visit the museum inside. We've gotten free access to the beautiful garden (Present Perfect Tense). We took so many pictures as the landscape was so amazing.

Tips: Copenhagen is the best place where you can use bikes to explore the city. There are places to rent bikes (Subject Verb Agreement).  My friends, as well as the rest of the tourists must follow the rules of biking (Subject Verb Agreement).

2. ROVANIEMI, FINLAND

Fun Things to Do in Rovaniemi, Finland During Winter
[Northern lights during winter]

Has anyone experienced winter before (Present Perfect  Tense)? Well, it was my first time experiencing winter too. Rovaniemi is a dream wonderland as you can witness Aurora, also known as northern lights. Besides (Transition Signals), this place is known best as Santa Claus birthplace.

There were so many activities you can explore in Rovaniemi like reindeer ride, meeting huskies, watching northern lights and snowmobile safari (Subject Verb Agreement). In order for us to know the perfect time to observe northern lights, the local guide told us to listen to radio broadcasts. It was a spectacular moment capturing the beauty of nature. Luckily, we brought our camera along and took as many pictures as we could.

3. STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN

[Stockholm view during night]

Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. I can't express how much I love to spend my time in Stockholm. In other words (Transition Signals), this place is popularly known by the name of "Beauty on Water". It has always been an attraction for the outstanding waterfront buildings (Present Perfect Tense).

During our first week in Sweden, we had spent our time at City Hall to get the feel of the place (Past Perfect Tense). Then (Transition Signals), the next day we head to 2 islands Riddarholmen and Sodermalm. From here we can get beautiful pictures, especially during sunsets. Besides (Transition Signals) the famous places, we enjoy traditional Swedish food such as husmanskost (served with lingonberries) along with  raggmunk (savory pancakes served with lingonberry jam).

4. PREIKESTOLEN, NORWAY

[Pulpit Rock]

Preikestolen Norway also formerly known as Pulpit Rock is one of the most famous hiking spots. The easiest way to get to Preikestolen was by the closest airport in Stavanger (Subject Verb Agreement). Then, from the airport, we had taken a bus about 25 minutes to reach the town Tau by ferry. From here, there would be another bus that will take us to the Preikestolen.

The hike takes about 4 to 6 hours. The season that we went was during April so it was quite crowded. Eventually (Transition Signals), we made friends while hiking to the highest spot. In the same way (Transition Signals), there were other things that worth the tiring experience like trail nearby lake Revsvatnet (Subject Verb Agreement).

Tips: Make sure to bring waterproof shoes to avoid falling from slippery wet rocks, lots of energy bars, plenty of water or thermos, and fully charged battery on your phone.

5. REYKJAVIK, ICELAND

Northernmost capital in the world. Well, let me come straight to the point. I was spellbound by the whale watching activity. Watching a whale in real life can't be described through words. The tour takes about 3 to 4 hours while the tour guide explains everything in detail (Subject Verb Agreement). Besides (Transition Signals), free internet connection and refreshments provided onboard.

We only had two days to spend our time in Iceland (Past Perfect Tense), so the next day we decided to go shopping in the city. The fashion designs are very unique and fashionable. To sum up (Transition Signals), don't miss the food in Iceland because it tastes scrumptious. Especially (Transition Signals), ice cream with cheese.
